True monthly cost / Housecall Pro

What Housecall Pro really costs per month

The full monthly bill for a 1-, 3- and 10-person shop: the plan, extra users, add-ons and payment processing fees. Every number comes from Housecall Pro's own pricing page, checked 2026-11-02. Prices are in US dollars and leave out sales tax, as the page says.

Plan price by team size

Housecall Pro includes a set number of users in each plan: Basic 1, Essentials 5 and Max 8. The page lists extra users at $35/mo each for Max only. The big number is the monthly-billing price; the smaller one is the per-month price when billed annually.

$369/mo billed annually · 8 included + 2 extra × $35 = $70

A 10-person shop on Max pays for 2 users beyond the 8 included: 2 × $35 = $70 a month on top of the plan. Basic and Essentials don't show an extra-user price, so those cells say Unknown instead of a guess. The page also shows short-term sign-up offers that change over time; they're left out here.

Required add-ons

None. The pricing page's FAQ says add-ons and extra users are optional. It lists add-ons such as CSR AI (call and chat answering), Pipeline, Payroll, Accounting, Voice, Vehicle GPS and dashcams, and Websites, but doesn't show their prices, so their cost is Unknown. Max includes the Sales Proposal Tool.

Plan limits that can force an upgrade: QuickBooks Online sync is listed from Essentials up, and Zapier and the open API are on Max only.

Payment processing fees

  • Card payments: start at 2.59% ("as low as 2.59%"). The page doesn't list the full rate table or any per-payment fixed fee, so those are Unknown.
  • Bank payments: 1% per payment (no cap shown, so any cap is Unknown).
  • Check deposits in the mobile app: no fee.

Worked examples (math shown)

These use an example of $10,000 collected in a month. That volume is just an example. Plug in your own.

  • Card fees at the lowest published rate: 2.59% × $10,000 = $259. Your real rate may be higher, so treat this as the floor.
  • All by bank payment instead: 1% × $10,000 = $100.

3 users on Essentials$189$259 or more$448 or more$289
10 users on Max$399$259 or more$658 or more$499

Contract terms that change the bill

  • No long-term contract is required, and the page says you can cancel any time.
  • You can upgrade any time. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current monthly or annual billing period.
  • The free trial is 14 days on the Max plan with no credit card.
  • Refunds on annual plans aren't covered on the pricing page, so that's Unknown.
