Link Fresha with Google Calendar
Send Fresha appointments to Google Calendar and bring Google events into Fresha as blocked time, so you avoid double bookings. Built in, set up from your Fresha workspace or a team member's settings. Steps checked against the vendor's help article on 2026-10-27 (the help center shows no last-updated date).
We built this guide from Fresha Help Center: Link your calendar with Fresha. We haven't run this setup in our own business yet, so follow the vendor's article if anything on screen looks different.
What you need
- A Fresha account with access to the workspace you want to link
- A Google account with the Google Calendar you want to link
- To link for a team member: access to their team member profile, or the team member needs permission to book appointments, as Fresha's article describes
Steps
- Open your workspace settings. Click your Profile picture in the top right toolbar and select My profile. In the left menu, select Workspaces, then click Manage next to your workspace.
- Start the link. Under Linked calendars, click Link a calendar.
- Choose Google. In Choose a calendar to link, pick Google calendar and click Next step. Follow the prompts to pick the Google email address to sync with, then click Continue to return to Fresha.
- Pick the sync direction. In How should this calendar sync, choose Export events to calendar (your Fresha schedule shows in Google), Import events to calendar (Google events come into Fresha as blocked time), or Two-way sync with your calendar (both). Click Next step.
- Set export options. If your sync includes export, choose whether to sync blocked time as well as appointments, and pick the locations to include under Locations to sync. Click Complete.
- Set import options. If your sync includes import, pick which Google calendar to import from, the location where imported events appear as blocked time, and under What to import choose All details (title and description) or Time and duration only. Click Complete.
- Wait for Synced. Fresha says it can take up to 15 minutes. When the linked calendar's status shows Synced, your appointments, blocked time or imported events appear as you set them.
Limits to know
- Two-way sync is only for Google Calendar. Apple Calendar (iCal) and Outlook link through the Other calendar option with an ICS link, once for export and once for import.
- Google events show in Fresha as blocked time, not appointments.
- Syncing can take up to 15 minutes.
- To link a team member's calendar, go to Team, then Team members, open their profile, choose Actions, Edit, then Settings, and use Linked calendars there.
- If you remove a linked calendar, the Delete blocked time imported from this calendar box is ticked by default. Any imported blocked time you keep stays in Fresha with no link back to Google.
Want more than one calendar? Fresha's article says you can link more than one personal calendar, each with its own direction and settings.
